KNUCKLE – SPILT MILK – LIVE FROM WAREHOUSE 23

BAND MARK THE END OF THE YEAR WITH VIDEO FROM BIGGEST EVER SHOW

Huddersfield & Wakefield based garage rock-trio Knuckle have shared a new live video from their massive headline show at Wakefield’s Warehouse 23 venue.

On the 9th of November, Knuckle played to their biggest ever headline crowd to cap off a massive year for the band. 2019 saw the band release their debut album to massive acclaim, selling out its first pressing while they continued their bruising touring schedule playing to ever growing and dedicated crowds – A statement of intent for 2020, the band took over the biggest venue in their hometown and worked with local festival Long Division to curate to the lineup  while Magic Rock Brewery helped to bus in Huddersfield fans.

Drummer Ben Wallbanks: “The Warehouse23 gig was a great to way to finish our best year by far as a band. We were blown away by the turn out and reception. It was a really special night. This year has been amazing as a whole; our debut album had loads of amazing feedback, as did all the merch, and our live shows. It really feels like we’ve grown as a band and we’re really excited to see what happens next year!”

Shot & recorded at the Warehouse 23 show, Knuckle have shared a live video for single ‘Spilt Milk’ – a song and performance that captures the ferocity of the band’s live performances.  ’Spilt Milk’ is the band’s songwriter Jonny Firth’s airing of the frustration and despondency around Brexit and the politics of his , he explains: “It’s pretty much a Brexit song, I don’t really get politics, but I feel with this government now, they have took our say away. I remember the adverts saying your vote counts but I don’t think that is the case nowadays, we are run by idiots who have turned this country to shit and now trying to fool the rest of the world by ‘sprinkling it in glitter’ we are fucked now and it’s hard to not feel like what’s the point being upset about something we have no control over.”

Knuckle will return in 2020 with music and tour dates.
