Saltwater Sun share visuals for raucous ‘Hot Mess’

Reading’s guitar pop maestros Saltwater Sun share visuals for exhilarating new cut Hot Messproviding another example of their limitless potential and firmly re-positioning the quintet at the heart of the indie landscape ahead of their Reading & Leeds slots this weekend.
Having returned with tenacious offering The Wire earlier this year, attracting widespread press coverage and hitting the BBC Radio 1/Radio X airwaves (Huw Stephens, John Kennedy) in the process, the Hand In Hive signees take things up a notch in their shimmering new anthem.
An impassioned plea to let go of any shackles and never take yourself too seriously, Hot Mess sees frontwoman Jen Stearnes deliver another impeccable vocal performance, ably supported by a series of punishing riffs and infectious harmonies.
Thriving on their return to the live circuit with capacity shows at The Great Escape and Are You Listening? this summer, the band will be heading out on a UK tour in September.
Produced by Alex Loring, Saltwater Sun’s Hot Mess is out now via Hand In Hive (Dama Scout, Swimming Tapes, Zuzu) and available on all platforms.
