HONEYBLOOD FLASH TOUR

6 Gigs. One City. One Day.

A week ago on Sunday, in celebration of World Music Day, Glasgow ‘crunch pop’ two-piece Honeyblood took to the streets of London on a one-day Flash Tour.

Not your ordinary rock tour, the band set out to challenge the status quo of live music, playing pop-up guerilla gigs across the capital. No booking agents. No sound checks. No tickets. Gigs were all free, and the band announced the locations on twitter on the day.

Flight delays cut 4 hours and 2 locations from the tour but Honeyblood rolled with the punches and managed to squeeze 4 gigs into one afternoon. Starting on the roof of iconic Camden pub The Hawley Arms, then to a guitar shop on Denmark St followed by the skate park at Southbank and finally the roof of Bussey building in Peckham.

“The Flash Tour was a one off experience even with all the delays and the last minute changes, so great that our fans followed us to every location and wish we could have done more! Our favorite was definitely the skate park at Southbank and blasting out four tracks before getting shut down” Honeyblood

All the chaos of the day was filmed for a Flash Tour documentary which is now live on the Dr. Martens YouTube channel.
