It’s been a while since we last featured Jónsi, the Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi Birgisso is an increasing post-rock icon, now succesfully developing his own solo career, which unmistakenly still carries the Sigur Rós sound. Whislt Sigur Rós are on “an indefinite hiatus” following many of the band members having children, Jónsi has yet to stop.

To celebrate April’s Record Store Day of this year EMI/Parlophone released a remix EP containing four remixes of various tracks from “Go”.
The four remixers were klive (aka úlfur, the bassist from the “Go” tour last year), f**k buttons, wld ptch (aka xl record label boss, richard russell & “go” mixer tom elmhurst) and bogdan raczynski.
