After a summer of defining festival performances, Lonely The Brave sit on the cusp of greatness, as their ascent to the upper echelons of rock continues . With an emotionally charged, stadium-sized sound, the Cambridge rockers have unsurprisingly built a remarkably loyal fan base over the last few years, proving themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting live bands. It’s a rise that has been played out on the Dr Martens Stand For Something Tour, progressing from a supporting role on last year’s tour to their rightful position headlining The Limelight in Belfast in what was a captivating evening of intense artistic rock. Here, the band discuss their passion for the intimate gig setting, taking you into the heart of what was their very first Belfast performance

What do you stand for, Lonely The Brave?: “I really feel that, in life, you’ve got to try and be yourself. The older I get, the more I realise this. If you’re a bit shy like me and someone tries to talk down to you because of it, just give them a death stare. They don’t like it”
