SHEFFIELD’S GET TOGETHER ANNOUNCES FAT DOG, THE HORRORS, EROL ALKAN AND MORE FOR 2026 EDITION
KELHAM ISLAND ALL-DAYER ANNOUNCES RETURN AFTER THREE YEARS OF SOLD-OUT EVENTS
Independent Sheffield music festival Get Together has announced the sixth edition of the all-day event taking place on Saturday 16th May 2026. Today’s initial run of artists are set to perform at a newly extended range of venues across Kelham Island and Neepsend after the success of this year’s special, fifth anniversary edition.
Leading today’s announcement are co-headliners Fat Dog, whose formidable electro-punk live show and highly anticipated debut album WOOF. got them named as one of DIY Magazine’s Class of 2024 and gothic garage rock icons The Horrors; who returned this year with their sixth album Night Life, a captivating blend of cold-wave minimalism and driving proto-punk grit helmed as ever by the inimitable Faris Badwan.
This year’s late headliner will be seminal DJ, producer and musician Erol Alkan. One of the most in-demand DJs of his time, Erol is still at the top of his game having recently played a surprise b2b2b2b set with fellow luminary electronic artists Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, Fred Again and Pedro Winter as well as a b2b set with Confidence Man to 10,000 people at The Warehouse Project.
Joining them throughout the day will be South London via North Yorkshire post-punk collective DEADLETTER; self-styled ‘wonk pop’ quartet Lime Garden; Brighton-based Lemonsuckr, who match dance music energy with spiky, Middle Eastern-inspired guitar sounds; fantasy fuelled techno-pop duo Silver Gore; Scottish alt-folk outfit Curiosity Shop fresh from a run of UK shows supporting Divorce and many, many more still to be announced.
Since its inception, Get Together has become a key part of Sheffield’s music scene through a truly innovative approach of developing, celebrating and showcasing forward-thinking creativity, emerging musical talent and internationally established acts side by side. Following on from the fifth anniversary edition, Get Together 2026 will feature a series of expansions and enhancements. By introducing new venues across Kelham Island and Neepsend, next year’s all-day festival will feature a higher capacity and, thanks to earlier performance start times, less clashes throughout the event.
In addition to multiple stages of live music and late-night DJ sets; the all-day event will bring together the very best independent and artisanal food and drink, with a huge selection of street food specially curated by Peddler, while Kelham Island Brewery will welcome some of the best beer makers in the country for another edition of The Kelham Beer Mile. Started in 2023, the Get Together Artist in Residence programme has since welcomed Sheffield artists Corbin Shaw and Conor Rogers with 2025 playing host to renowned photomontage artist Cold War Steve, who invited the people of Sheffield to collaborate on a large-scale mural that celebrated the very best of the city. Details of Get Together 2026’s food and drink vendors, Artist in Residence and further community programme will follow in the coming months.
Early bird tickets for Get Together 2026 will go on sale at 10am, Friday 7th November.
