END OF THE ROAD FESTIVAL

ANNOUNCE STAGE AND DAY SPLITS

Caribou, Father John Misty, Self Esteem and Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory headline

28-31st August 2025 at the Larmer Tree Gardens

It’s time to fire up your spreadsheets and build your playlists; End Of The Road have released their day and stage splits for this year. Put on the kettle, and dive in here. End Of The Road are also pleased to announce new additions Youth Lagoon and Rogê who replace Ezra Feinberg who has unfortunately had to cancel.

Headlining Thursday is the iconic Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, who will bring their emotionally charged, soaring indie rock to the festival; setting the tone for a deeply felt weekend.

Friday will get the party fully underway with electronic trailblazer Caribou following a mind-expanding set from psych-rockers Goat. Saturday welcomes pop provocateur Self Esteem, whose high-concept live shows have cemented her as one of the UK music scene’s most vital voices. And on Sunday, closing the festival’s main stage, Father John Misty makes his long-awaited return to End Of The Road, delivering his trademark satirical folk rock.

The Garden

Nestled among the trees, The Garden is beloved by End Of The Road regulars for its magic. On Friday, The National’s Matt Berninger will bring his smokey ballads to the stage, following a performance from Irish folk experimentalist Lisa O’Neill. Headlining on Saturday are the ferocious Viagra Boys, who promise to shake it to its roots. Closing out the stage on Sunday is the much-loved, genre-defying collective Black Country, New Road bringing their rich, baroque arrangements from their acclaimed new album Forever Howlong.

The Big Top

This is where End Of The Road champions the wild, weird and wonderful. This year’s highlights include electronic innovator Joy Orbison, noise-rock romantics DIIV, synth philosopher John Maus, glitchy electronic artist Ela Minus, cello-wielding experimentalist Mabe Fratti, and boundary-smashing South African artist Moonchild Sanelly.

The Folly

Here, the spotlight is on the future. This year’s lineup offers the chance to catch the very best upcoming artists, including off-kilter shoegaze from bdrmm, experimental indie rock from Jasmine.4.T. and genre-hopping eccentricity from Fabiana Palladino. As well as this, expect late-night secret sets, open-air silent discos, forest raves and the ever-burning bonfire just outside.

The Boat Stage

The Boat Stage is where things get delightfully unpredictable. This year’s catch includes industrial-leaning post-punk from Mandy, Indiana, lo-fi grime from Black Fondu, and glacial electronic compositions from Copenhagen’s Astrid Sonne.

The Talking Heads

The home of comedy and talks during the day, there are also some meditative musical moments to be had in this woodland hideaway. Expect tender, experimental and acoustic performances in the early evening from the likes of Sabine McCallaJennifer Castle and Christopher Owens.

And of course, End Of The Road wouldn’t be itself without a host of unannounced performances, pop-up happenings, and once-in-a-lifetime moments around every corner.
