Molchat Doma Release 3 Song Performance “Live At Panorama Hotel”

Belarusian post-punk / synth-pop group Molchat Doma celebrate the success of their new album ‘Belaya Polosa’, released in September via Sacred Bones, with the release of ‘Live At Panorama Hotel’. Filmed at the iconic Soviet-era Panorama Hotel in Slovakia that adorns the cover of their 2018 breakthrough album ‘Etazhi’ (released internationally by Sacred Bones in 2020), ‘Live At Panorama Hotel’ is a live 3-song performance, released as a long-form video today, with an etched 12″ vinyl also available for pre-order now via Sacred Bones.
It is the band’s first official live release, and was recorded late last year, during an extensive European tour that saw the band play sell-out shows across the continent.
Celebrated for channeling a distinct Soviet-era darkwave aesthetic, Molchat Doma bring their haunting sound to life on this recording with three fan-favourite tracks from the album ‘Etazhi’: “Toska” and “Sudno”, as well as “Chernye Cvety” from latest album ‘Belaya Polosa’. The recording, which captures the raw energy of their live performances, goes hand in hand with a captivating performance video, directed by Alina Pasok, shot in a snowy Slovakian landscape with the Panorama towering over the trio.
“When we released Etazhi in 2018, we joked that for its 10th anniversary, we would play a live show at the Panorama Hotel,” says the band. “Well, we’re happy it happened sooner than planned.”
The live video is as legendary as the trio are, hit play and immerse yourselves within the striking world of Molchat Doma.
