End Of The Road Festival has announced a new wave of artists joining its already incredible 2024 lineup. With more big names and rapidly rising stars from post-punk to experimental pop, the 2024 edition of End Of The Road boasts a world-beating mix of the best in alternative music. Final tickets available via festival website.

One of Sheffield’s most beloved sons, Richard Hawley will fit seamlessly into the pantheon of brilliant artists performing this year, with his Yorkshire croon a perfect accompaniment for the setting sun. Effortlessly cool, Lætitia Sadier makes music that takes a sophisticated approach to experimentation. Best known for her work in Stereolab, she will bring cosmic, genre-defying bliss to End Of The Road 2024.

Altın Gün are celebrated for their totally unique brand of Anatolian rock and Turkish psychedelic folk, which will be a perfect accompaniment to the hazy days of late summer. After moving to the US from Zimbabwe and toiling for two decades in the underground rap scene as one half of Armand Hammer, billy woods has become one of the most revered voices in hip-hop today. Whilst occupying a place in the avant-garde, Still House Plants have exploded into public view with unanimous critical acclaim for their third album, ‘If I don’t make it, I love u’ and will be an eagerly anticipated set for festival goers.

The full spectrum of punk is well represented with new additions being led by Brooklyn art-punks Gustaf bringing razor edge cool, US synth-punks Sextile with their cavernous reverb and middle finger throwing Brighton post-punks Lambrini Girls bringing their famously incendiary live show to Larmer Tree Gardens. American hardcore heavyweights MSPAINT round out a tranche of bands with enough attitude to make even the most reluctant fist punch the air.

With an eclectic eye always looking further afield, Kenyan rapper MC Yallah, joined by producer Debmaster will be bringing their dancefloor fire to this year’s edition, whilst Indonesian experimentalists SENYAWA explore experimental practices by fusing tribal, primitive sounds with industrial music.
Electronic music lovers can soak in the warped sounds of Chanel Beads, as the project of Shane Lavers delivers his raw sonics and eclectic structures, whilst Brooklyn duo H31R bring their rhythmically intricate, electronic rap, defying genre with their futuristic tunes. Vancouver based YU SU will be playing a not-to-be-missed DJ set, famous for her slow burn club beats and down tempo oddities which transcend time and space.

With an unbeatable knack for booking the next big things, newcomers are well represented at this year’s edition. Bella Union signees Plantoid bring their fizzing and frenetic prog-jazz-rock, whilst Anastasia Coope and her ethereal tones and spectral timbres are set to charm all who watch. New band THE NONE, formed of lifelong musicians including former Bloc Party bassist Gordon Moakes, showcase their uncompromising noise rock, whilst the sad clown balladry of NiCKY will usher in a moment of sweet sincerely to End Of The Road 2024. The festival is also excited to share the winners of this year’s Play End Of The Road talent competition: SOMOH, OTG and Me Lost Me.
