Having released their new album ‘Bravo!’ earlier this year via Arbutus Records, Montreal duo Sorry Girls, made up of Heather Foster Kirkpatrick and Dylan Konrad Obront, are back today with a new single “Wasn’t Easy“.

On the track, the band said “A stripped back take on Sorry Girls’ signature heartbreak pop-ballad. It’s about looking back on loss as it unfolds, watching things as they break and the uncanny feeling of disillusion that comes in the wake of an ending.”

Sorry Girls released a moving, stunning composition. Filled with delicate acoustic notes and this powerful vocal range that expands throughout the raw release. Sorry Girls once again release a track that resonates with such purity. A release that celebrates its honesty, its minimalist touch enhances the intimate words.

Sorry Girls have danced out of the darkness into the light. Since forming in 2015, the Montreal duo of Heather Foster Kirkpatrick and Dylan Konrad Obront transformed an eerie, dreamlike sound into lush, pleasure seeking pop, as hear on their latest album ‘Bravo!’, which came out in June via Arbutus Records. In support of the record, the band are currently touring across the US and Canada.
