New Album “Blind” out 25th August via Bella Union
Our Broken Garden – therecording alias of Danish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anna Brønsted – last month announced the release of her new album Blind, due out 25th August via Bella Union, and shared lead track “Fallen”. Following on from that, Our Broken Garden now share a hypnotic visualiser for enchanting new single “Storm” which features Luke Temple on guest vocals.
Commenting on the track Anna Brønsted says: “Storm was written during a meditation retreat I undertook in Canada. I spent three months there and I like to think it is somehow hearable in the song. During the post-production, Brian Batz, my collaborative producer for the album, suggested that we invite Luke Temple to join in on the vocals. I am so appreciative that Luke wanted to take part, as his contribution perfectly aligns with the emotional core of the song”.
“Storm” captures this immense fragile quality, similar to the name itself, the track embarks on this journey that grows with tension, speed, intensity and this electrifying current. Amongst the volatility of the delicate harmonies uniting, emphasising one another and directing the affectionate appeal of this consuming arrangement.
