Amplifest Announces Final Line-Up For This Year’s Edition

A total of 19 artists are added to the lineup for Amplifest 2023. Full line up info below. Taking place between the 22nd and 24th of September, the festival will start, for the first time, in Serralves with the presentation of FROM RUIN, a collaboration between the plastic artist Rui Chafes and Candura. The event, which aims to be a meeting place around music and its areas of contact, will also include the first exhibition in Porto of Even Hell has its Heroes, by Clyde Petersen, a poetic portrait of Earth’s musical universe and the lives of its members. The screening will have free access and will take place on Sunday, September 25th, at 11 am at Batalha – Centro de Cinema.

After the announcement of the much awaited return to Portugal of SUNN O))), the festival announces today the concerts of: AEVITERNE, AMENRA, ASHENSPIRE, BIG|BRAVE, CELESTE, DAVID EUGENE EDWARDS, DIVIDE AND DISSOLVE, ELLEREVE, ESBEN AND THE WITCH, HETTA, HEXVESSEL, HIDE, HILARY WOODS, KEN MODE, MUTOID MAN, MДQUIИД, NECRØ and SIR RICHARD BISHOP. A line-up that mixes national and European premieres, returns and discoveries for new names in national and international heavy music. The daily lineup and times will be announced later.

Result of a co-creation that connects Rui Chafes and CanduraFrom Ruin premieres in Porto at the Serralves Auditorium, opening the ninth edition of Amplifest on September 22, in a collaboration between the Serralves Foundation and Amplificasom.
