Sock Release New Single “Accidentally High”

Taken From Self-Titled Album Due 28th April via Bubblewrap Collective

With one week until the release of their new album, Sock are keeping you all captivated with their latest single and taste of the forthcoming record, “Accidentally High” which is out today.

Formed in Cardiff, Sock are your new favourites. The band are described as making guitar-driven alternative rock, taking inspiration from psychedelic music. Known for their creative melodic arrangements and blending of genres, the band describes their music as “a rather progressive affair”.

The song title “Accidentally High” gives early perceptions of the world you think you’re about to enter, but the woozy melodies and the gentle lyrics give this opposition to the title. It’s delicate yet compelling, the sweeping tones and calmer shuffles collide to provide this sumptuous instrumental backdrop to accompany the dreamy harmonies and the direction of the lyrics. The noodling rhythms and bright tonal choice assist with the addictive world that Sock has produced. It’s a tranquil and lasting atmosphere that pulls you into the melody and keeps you fixated on the sincere essence of the arrangement. The golden dazzle of this world and the harmonic vocal notes give this reflection to a 90’s iconic outfit, they’ve built this immersive landscape with a nostalgic air.

There really is this sublime serenity in the composition that Sock has just shared, and with that, the track also captures the magic of this outfit. This track is enough to get you excited for the final countdown to the album release.
