Share new single “Tin Foil”

Debut album, Howling at a Concrete Moon out 14th April on Chillburn Recordings

UK and European Tour Dates this April/May

With their debut album, Howling at a Concrete Moon due 14th April, Pynch share another cut from the record with new single “Tin Foil“.

Of “Tin Foil”, band leader Spencer Enock shares: “When we play live I always jokingly introduce ‘Tin Foil’ as being about conspiracy theories but really, I think it’s about how complex and overwhelming the modern world can be.   It feels like we’ve been in one form of crisis or another for my entire adult life and this song is about our over-exposure to that level of stimulation and the need to escape it all and ‘get lost forever. It’s definitely one of our most upbeat and irreverent song so it feels right to be releasing it at the beginning of spring and just before the album comes out”.

We are on the final countdown to the album release and “Tin Foil” reignites that pure excitement for the record to arrive. Pynch are parading the very best of their vivid imagination and creative touch, they once again deliver a dazzling composition filled with endless hooks, explosive flair, and a range of psychedelic noodles and rhythmic pushes. There’s a somber touch to the intimate lyrics that melodically flourish through the exploration. Whilst the lyrics and the vocal notes bulldoze through the landscape with this bright imprint, the melodic movement of each musician unites, and the intense energy draws the audience in.

Co-produced by Andy Ramsay of Stereolab, Howling at a Concrete Moon is an album that discusses both the personal and political, exploring what it has felt like to be young and coming of age in post-austerity Britain.
