Explosions In The Sky Announce THE END TOUR
Explosions In The Sky have announced THE END TOUR taking place this Autumn. The tour will see the band play 25 cities around the world including 12 UK and European shows taking place in November. These are the band’s first live dates since 2020. Artist pre-sale takes place today and Thursday ahead of tickets going on-sale this Friday, 21st April, at 10am.

Explosions In The Skyplayed their first show at the University of Texas’ student radio station in July 1999. A year later, they recorded their first album, How Strange, Innocence, over the course of two days. In 2001 the band released their breakthrough second album, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live Forever, before signing to Bella Union in the UK and Europe for the release of their classic third LP, The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place, in2003. Subsequent acclaimed releases include All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, and The Wilderness. The band have also recorded numerous soundtracks including Friday Night Lights, Prince Avalanche, Lone Survivor and Manglehorn.
