South Wales instrumental quartet FORT are kicking off their year with the dramatic new single release “Ouroboros”. The cinematic 4 piece are described as citing influences from Caspian and Sleepmakeswaves as they channel reverb-drenched guitars and driving basslines into their instrumental pieces. Their music, is immersive and monumental.
Today the band release their astonishing new single “Ouroboros”, the new track is on streaming platforms, the track is taken from the outfit’s forthcoming EP “Once All Is Said And Done, We Still Draw Breath” which will be released in April via Hyprpwr.
Immediately the audience gets caught up in the atmospherical creation, this vast landscape pulls you in amongst the shifting intensity, complex bass notes, and striking intense instrumentation euphoria. The cinematic exploration allows this immersive journey to consume the listener, whilst the track showcases the power of the musicians as they set out to play a truly raw orchestration filled with high peaks and a wealth of textures.
This sound bite plays through the piercing pitches leading to one of many crushing crescendos, as the recorded sample brings this connection, voice to the fervor, once the sample concludes the musicians unite to add this influx of force to their mammoth passages.
