Holy Coves Set To Release New Single “Desert Storm”

Out 29th April via Yr Wyddfa Records

North Wales psychedelic rock band ‘Holy Coves’ are set to return with their brand new single ‘Desert Storm’, due 29th of April via prolific North Wales Label ‘Yr Wyddfa Records’.

The new single is described as setting the psych mood with droney riffs, hazy vocals on an epic musical landscape.

Lead by Welsh Singer-Songwriter Scott Marsden, ‘Holy Coves’ find themselves crossing an unseen threshold on a fantastical new journey where new psych-hazed material spells an exciting new era for the collective. Ahead of the release, we were lucky enough to embrace the new single in all its glory.

Desert Storm” sweeps into its captivating formation with the first wail and insight into the striking textures which sculpt this exploration. The first tone soars and counts in the united instrumentation. Deep, rolling drum shuffles and the impressive ardent guitar rhythms fiercely start to convey the expressive, heavy landscape. The Americana influence resonates with such clarity from the tonality of the creation, the vocal emerges and adds this personal, intimate touch to this gritty formation. The raw lyrics and vocal tones collide with the mighty soundscape for a complimenting contrast. The vocal melodies showcase this impressive range and push this enveloping sense of aggression through the notes reached.

Holy Coves capture this addictive influence and rock quality within their new creation. With the array of darker attributes and densely layered textures, you’ll be hooked. As the exploration flows, the guitar passages towards the final crescendo of this track start to bring this sonically alluring chaos into the mix. Adding experimental touches, tweaks, and additional tones.

This raucous rock creation will captivate you, a truly explosive new transmission from this outfit.

Through long time friend and Producer David Wrench‘Holy Coves’ was put in touch with Texan Producer Erik Wofford(The Black Angels / Explosions In The Sky) and have built quite a magical working relationship, one where Wofford found himself on Mixing and Mastering duties for the material and certainly contributes to their new sound.
