Head to Austin in March for SXSW
Announce biggest headline shows to date and summer festivals

W. H. Lung are one of the best live acts in the UK right now and they’re heading Stateside this month to bring their unique strain of hypnotic electronic pop to SXSW.

The group have also rescheduled their sold out shows in Manchester and Glasgow, and announced their biggest headline show to date at London’s Village Underground on 2nd November.
The groups second album ‘Vanities’ released in the summer of 2021, was a bold electronic leap forward into the dance music they love.

New video ‘Kaya’ is a hypnotising visual piece, opening the film is a painting by Joel Burden, the artist behind the whole visual language of Vanities and is directed by Craig McLaughlin.

“The original thought behind any creative venture begins life as a feeling, a sensation, which the artist then fumbles into the physical world.” singer Joesph Evans. “Original inspiration for this video came from David Hockney’s timelapse iPad paintings. The creature who is chased into the studio is inspired by the Japanese movement art of Butoh.”

W. H. Lung are pioneering the industry right now, releasing some of the most immersive compositions. “Kaya” is exactly that and the hypnotic energy captured in the track is reflected into the creative film to accompany the single release. “Kaya” closes out W.H. Lung‘s phenomenal album release “Vanities” which came out last year, ending this expressive collection on the ultimate high. Within their vision, W.H. Lung lace their orchestrations with this euphoric and essential journey. Built on the bold tones and surging synth sounds, the harmonic vocal notes and relatable lyrics. This cadence of intricate elements unite for this moving, electronic explosion. Easily one of the most crucial outfits right now, producing these flawless creations leaving the most powerful, lasting impressions.
