A STONE’S THROW FESTIVAL 2022 – THE NORTH EAST’S COASTAL MUSIC TRAIL

NEWCASTLE COAST (TYNEMOUTH & NORTH SHIELDS) – SATURDAY MAY 28th

FIRST ARTISTS ANNOUNCED INCLUDE: SAM TOMPKINS, BERWYN, LAURAN HIBBERD, WYCH ELM, RUDIE EDWARDS, TAMZENE, BANDIT, FEVA, JANGO FLASH, LUKE ROYALTY, GEORGE O’HANLON, IMOGEN & MORE 

‘A Stone’s Throw Festival’ will take place on Saturday May 28th 2022 within two buzzing villages along Newcastle’s stunning coastal line. Connected by striking walking and driving routes, Tynemouth North Shields play host to an array of independent bars, venues and unique spaces – all of which are bursting with character.

Salt Market Social is the headline venue, with 11 further venues currently taking part, and trusted local bus service Go North East providing open top buses and a 7 minute round trip. A Stone’s Throw Festival is gearing up to provide a refreshing, unique and memorable music festival experience. 

Island signed Sam Tompkins (off the back of an acclaimed sell-out academy run), BBC Sound Of 2021 alumni BERWYN, and Isle of Wight slacker-pop sensation Lauran Hibberd lead the first announcement.  

Performing at this year’s first edition will be Sam Tompkins, BERWYN, Lauran Hibberd, Rudie Edwards, Tamzene, Wych Elm, Alex Amor, Bandit, Benjamin Fitzgerald, Candid, Club Paradise, Danko, Dakota Avenue, Dilutey Juice, Ellur, FEVA, Frankie Beetlestone, George O’Hanlon, Hector Gannet, HighSchool, Hi Sienna, IMOGEN, Jango Flash, Kate Bond, Keiran Bowe, Lizzie Esau, Luke Royalty, Moon Wax, Motel Carnation, Overpass, Pave The Jungle,  Ten Eighty Trees, The Gulps, Vice Killer, with more to be announced.
