LibraLibra Return With New Single “CANDY MOUNTAIN”

Set For Release November 17th

Taken From Forthcoming EP Due March 2022

The admirable, adventurous and utterly unruly quartet LibraLibra are back with an explosive bang. Following the Brighton-based 4-piece flawless EP titled ‘Hail Mary’ which was released via their own LibraLibra Records back in Summer 2020, the outfit are just days away from unleashing their ferocious new single “Candy Mountain”.

Due November 17th, the band are also set to release an accompanying film for the single, the first taste of their forthcoming EP which is due in Spring next year. Ahead of the release, we’ve been fortunate to embrace the new release in full, and the excitement for all to hear this new single is at an all-time high.

Candy Mountain” starts with this angular feedback before the mighty drum beat initiates the proceedings alongside the fierce and dynamic vocal notes from lyricist Beth Cannon. When all musicians unite to bring their force to the atmosphere and manipulate the ambiance which came before, the audience will be left in awe. LibraLibra adds these raw attributes to the center of their creation and wields the intensity of their vision.

The relentless pointed vocal style that Cannon weaves throughout the aggressive instrumentation, channels such immersive energy to the ensemble. Cannon celebrates characteristics similar to that of Emily Kempf and Jasmyn Burke, yet vows this unique credibility owning this soundscape and dominating the UK music scene as one of the most impressive singers around.

As the fierce arrangement continues its vast yet rapid journey, the track continues to add layer upon layer into its structure. This muddling fuzz simmers with sublime intensity hanging on the gritty bass notes that add such complex depth to the landscape, whilst the abrasive percussive elements and the mammoth riffs unite with the fearless vocal melodies. The compelling creation will get under your skin as it showcases this endless array of hooks. This exhilarating ensemble focuses on the capabilities of the outfits’ crucial tones to create an explosive and immense arrangement.

LibraLibra have this vicious vision that they execute with this audacious energy and punk influence which scorns the soundscape. “Candy Mountain” is one of LibraLibra‘s most ambitious cuts yet. Melodic mayhem at its best.
