Ahead of releasing their upcoming sixth record Follow The Voice, due Nov. 12th, Kraków Loves Adana have shared their final single “Taint My Mind”. The accompanying visualiser created by UK artist Alice Bloomfield adds to the duo’s typical mystic world of bittersweet melancholia.

“Taint My Mind” emerges with this immediate addictive quality that cascades over every attribute of this fierce ensemble. The brooding influx of crushing synth sounds soaring through this dense atmosphere, enriched with the moody vocal harmonies and experimental vigor.

Kraków Loves Adana has this unique ability to manipulate these organic synth sound waves, using a sound that is so well known and sculpted into a fresh delivery. The new track offers this darker influence, the layered yet sulky harmonies manipulate the ambiance and start the sculpt the methanolic movement.

“This song was inspired by the love of my life. It’s also the song that made me realize that I am not only a songwriter and singer but also a producer. Accompanied by the visualizer of Alice Bloomfield you get the perfect Virgo sun Aries moon energy y’all have been waiting for”, says Deniz Çiçek about the new release.

The pair’s upcoming album Follow The Voice arises from the difficult time around the release of their previous album Darkest Dreams from last year, where the band parted ways with their former record label. Çiçek sees the new album in a way as an in-between record and adds that most of the new songs exist in some kind of parallel universe to Darkest Dreams, but still offer a more introspective and retrospective character. September’s first single and title track “Follow The Voice” can be seen as a powerful wish to break the curse of past times.
Kraków Loves Adana formed in 2006 after eyeing each other for months at the same nightclubs in Germany. The group’s guitar-driven electronic ballads echo dream pop with a melancholic edge. The pair’s fifth studio album Darkest Dreams was released in 2020 and offered a closer look into a world where dreams and reality collide. In autumn 2019 Chromatics invited Kraków Loves Adana to directly support them on their Double Exposure Tour through Europe.
