APRE share joyous new effort ‘All Mine’
‘A001’ mixtape arriving early 2022
Experimental alt-pop duo APRE return with joyous offering ‘All Mine’, which was released yesterday, September 1st as part of their forthcoming nine-track mixtape ‘A001’, primed to arrive early next year.
Showcasing the sound of a band firmly returning to their roots, ‘All Mine’ details an all-encompassing relationship steeped within their trademark synth-pop specialism, and provides the sequel to debut track ‘All Yours’ as they revisit the very start of their time together and herald new beginnings following acclaimed 2020 mini-album ‘Always In My Head’.
With a live show that’s already earned plenty of plaudits following appearances at Glastonbury and SXSW, as well as supports alongside Sam Fender, Friendly Fires and Inhaler, APRE will soon be kicking off their own London residency this autumn, spotlighting the immersive experience of their upcoming mixtape through a combination of art installations and live performances merged together in unique fashion.
APRE builds this all-consuming atmosphere amongst each of their creations. With their latest single, that atmosphere propels this elusive and intoxicating vibe. APRE craft this pop-inspired anthem which at its core embraces this intimate essence, the lyrics, and compelling vocal notes which dazzle amongst the plethora of layers to this release, they bring this honesty to the ensemble which the audience can easily connect with. This raucous kick and desirable melody help push this release into new depths.
Discussing the origins behind ‘All Mine’, the two-piece explained: “When something becomes so good we can’t help but look for the flaws, drowning our minds with false anxiety, as we lie in disbelief that we’ve found the one person that understands us. In other words it seems too good to be true. This song speaks of the never ending sense of joy another human being can give you.”
