Tune-Yards announce an eclectic new web series sketchy.tv, directed by Dominic Mercurio and based on their critically acclaimed fifth studio album, sketchy. The 4-part series parallels sketchy. in its world of joy grounded by serious undertones.
The series includes exclusive Tune-Yards content and performances from their studio, with each episode released on consecutive Thursdays, concluding on July 29. Episode 1 (hold yourself.) is available now.
Tune-Yards fifth studio album, sketchy., balances self-inspection and reflection with bombastic rallying cries, reminiscent of the furious tones of early days Tune-Yards. The result is a colorful and celebratory record with lyrics that cut to the bone.
