Philadelphia shape-shifting rock band SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE have today shared a new video for ‘THE SERVER IS IMMERSED’, the latest single from their new LP ENTERTAINMENT, DEATH, due 9th April via Saddle Creek.
Spliced together from the depths of Youtube by the band’s very own Zachary Schwartz, ‘THE SERVER IS IMMERSED’ finds SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE attheir most accessible and relatable, via a track that digs into the monotony of the day-to-day inspired by Schwartz’s food industry day job.
The song follows the excellent first single ‘THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN’T DO’, described by Pitchfork as “where limitless potential meets weirdo catharsis.”
Spirit Of the Beehive have this remarkable if not flawless ability to manipulate their sound creations in order to achieve an obscure reaction to their craft. With their new single they once again dynamically alter their vision to craft this mighty musical notion that delivers softer tones, samples, sound manipulation and the most crushing finale.
