Chicago artist Luke Titus just dropped an excellent new video for a new single off his forthcoming debut LP PLASMA, available November 13th via Sooper Records.

Featuring NNAMDÏ as the host for the fictional The NNAMDÏ At NNIGHT Show, Luke hits the couch and performs the new song ‘I’ll Be Here’ within a Joker-Esque delusion of grandeur. The song, an atmospheric earworm, is the perfect backdrop as the multi-instrumentalist joyrides the city on his way to the taping. The video is by Low Moon Productions, the Chicago video duo of Jake Karlson and Bayley White that has directed videos for Sooper Artists including NNAMDÏ, Sen Morimoto, and others.

We are being introduced to a whole collective of lyrical creatives, Luke Titus being one of these. An artist who is creating such deep and visceral arrangements, creating their own unique vibe the audience is lucky to experience. Imaginative and complex. The new video is as hypnotizing as the standout arrangements that Luke is producing.

Titus cut his teeth in the Chicago music scene drumming on Noname’s Room 25 and musical directing for Ravyn Lenae. His last single, ‘Today‘ featured the R&B singer-songwriter. The album, which also features Sen Morimoto, Qari, and Elton Aura, is entirely produced by Titus, utilizing hip-hop, Jazz, R&B, and Pop. Folding into that psychedelia, experimental glitchiness, and big, luscious pop hooks with gloriously expressive vocal performances, PLASMA serves as one of the most imaginative debuts to come out of Chicago this year.
