CIEL Release New Single “All My Life”

Brighton-based alt-pop outfit CIEL release atmospheric new single ‘All My Life’.

Primed to capitalise on the success of acclaimed debut EP ‘Movement’ earlier this year, ‘All My Life’ marks the next stage in the band’s development and finds a compelling balance between electronic synths and more conventional instrumentalization, with glazy guitar sounds and pensive pop vocals adding to its alluring anthemic tendencies.

CIEL provides such an enchanting exploration within their dreamy landscape. Rich textures, elevated and stunning vocal harmonies carrying the audience on this illustrious lyrical adventure. They perfectly blend complex instrumentation, heartfelt harmonies and a delicate yet consuming energy.

Having already generated widespread praise throughout the press landscape (Dork, Clash, Gigwise) and several plays across the airwaves (BBC 6 Music, KEXP), CIEL’s thrilling potential has certainly been amplified in recent months and partnering up with the esteemed Iggy B (John Grant, Spiritualized, Ghostpoet) on production duties sees them transition into new, poppier territory.

Detailing their newest release, frontwoman Michelle Hindriks explained:

“ ‘All My Life’ is a song about introversion. I have always been quite shy and a very introverted person. Although I love parties and hanging out with other people, I need a lot of time for myself and to be able to do things at my own pace too. The song is about finding your way into the world, which can be quite loud and fast-paced when you’re a more soft-spoken person. And realising that you can make a difference in a more subtle way, and stand in your power that way”.

Produced by Iggy B, CIEL’s ‘All My Life’  was released November 11th and available now via all digital platforms.

CIEL’s live set-up is Michelle Hindriks (vocals, guitar), Jorge Bela Jimenez (guitar, synthesiser, bass), Tim Spencer (drums)
