Nature TV Share ‘The Whole World Drifts Away’ Out Now Via Heist or Hit

Brighton dream-pop specialists Nature TV have shared theur ethereal new cut ‘The Whole World Drifts Away’, which was released September 9th via Heist or Hit.

Striding a line between the hazy suburbia of Real Estate and the waterside stillness of Nick Drake, the band’s second offering from their ‘Lady Luck’ EP (released 18th September) sees them hone in on their newfound ‘hikewave’ genre, masterfully crafting a crescendo of effortlessly silky guitars and tender, dreamy vocals to perfection.

With contemplative nostalgia and a histotrophic soundtrack of faded relationships, paranoia and heartbreak taking centre stage throughout their forthcoming EP, the rising quartet are well-placed to capitalise on last year’s acclaimed ‘Emotion Sickness’ EP, having become a firm favourite amongst key industry gatekeepers (DIY, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Gigwise), earned support across the BBC Radio 1 airwaves (Huw Stephens) and opened for the likes of Swimming Tapes and Trudy and the Romance.

Discussing the group’s upcoming single, frontman Guy Bangham stated: “The Whole World Drifts Away’ Is all about going over different life choices in your head at night and hoping you’ve made the right decisions or trusted the right people. Sometimes it’s hard to not doubt stuff, especially when you’re trying to get to sleep, but your mind keeps overthinking different routes you could have taken. But you know, we got a song out of it so it’s not all bad…right?”

Nature TV continue to captivate with each new orchestration they drop- “The Whole World Drifts Away” is a bold new composition which will devour you.

Nature TV creates expansive orchestrations that exude emotional charm. Their work provides reflective lyrics that haunt you, mixed in with their expansive chords and glistening chorus enriching their guitar notes. Their instrumentation provides a vast aura and at times intense yet always immersive. Easily one of the most compelling acts of our time, let their vision hypnotise.
