BARBAROSSA SHARES NEW SINGLE “RECLINER”

Barbarossa,a.k.a. British singer-songwriter and producer James Mathé, shares hisnew single “Recliner” via Memphis Industries.
“Recliner” is tender and dreamy electronica replete with a trade mark euphoric chorus. It was recorded with friend and producer Ghost Culture in his studio in Margate. The song addresses releasing the expectations people have for you, and the consequences of doing so, as Mathé explains:
“Recliner is about letting go of what you think other people expect of you. Just giving in to who you are-accepting the good the bad. Sometimes it’s scary to show the real you and it’s also scary if you like your life like that as it may mean you must make some hard changes in order to live your life as your true self.”
More delicate instrumentation and soft vocals just exude intimacy and charm in this new composition. Before the beat erupts and consumes you. A powerful yet completely refreshing listen.
Mathé has been releasing music under the moniker Barbarossa since 2006 having been signed to legendary Scottish imprint the Fence Collective for the albums “Sea of Blood” and“Chemical Campfires” and latterly to Memphis Industries for “Bloodlines”, “Imager” and“Lier”. His music has been used to soundtrack a whole host of TV shows including How I Met Your Mother, Suits and Elementary. He has also been a key part of Jose Gonzales’ live set up for many years
