+ SHARE NEW RELEASE INFO
We are delighted to share the latest news from the obliterating duo La Jungle.
Whilst La Jungle wait for the release of their next album, the pair have set up their own record label called H Y P E R J U N G L E, and have decided to dedicate 2020 to a few special releases.
With the news of this new label, we are also delighted to share info on their first release. A 10″ split vinyl with their friends Hyperculte from Switzerland. Members of L’Orchestre Tout-Puissant Marcel Duchamp, Massicot and Tout Bleu.
The news is marked with a stunning white vinyl release featuring one new song from each band and incredible new artwork created by La Jungle‘s guitarist Warvin.
La Jungle’s A Night In Pangea is rhythmically fun, vibrant, and innovative. This marching electronic loop pelts the track into its darting formation before bodacious drum beats hit the soundscape, finally joined by driving deep guitar hooks. As the wild arrangement continues added electronic elements push the experimentation further. La Jungle continue to create such contagious movements. Complex track, deep in textures, layers upon layers built within it’s harmonious atmosphere. La Jungle never fail to impress, a fitting release to a must-have record.
La Qualité Du Jour by Hyperculte follows and already that rhythm is present- it’s got you, you’re mesmerized. The flow for the release spreads, as this propulsive beat multiples, this courageous 9-minute arrangement impresses at each turn. Complimenting vocals shine through as whistle-like tunes, cowbell, and angular scratchy guitar layers itself on this audacious journey. The new wave and somewhat pioneering experimental-music roots itself within its additional touches, experimental elements consume this well-rounded bold, diverse composition.
