
YNYS to release new single ‘Aros Am Byth’ via Libertino on 15th May
Easily the most promising artist aroung at the moment, Ynys has returned to announce the new single ‘Aros am Byth (Waiting Forever)‘ due for release 15th May via Libertino.
The forthcoming single release was recorded at Tŷ Drwg studios in Cardiff with Ynys’s producer Frank Naughton and mixed by Iwan Morgan (Cate Le Bon, Richard James, Islet, H.Hawkline)

‘Aros am Byth’ is described as bringing together 70s Italian disco synths and 90s power pop harmonies which will be THE sound of 2021. Full of hopeful longing and possessing a magical combination of melancholy and starry eyed wonder.
As Dylan Hughes (singer/songwriter) explains “the vibe I was trying to get was Jeff Lynne taking over the studio after being at a Tame Impala listening party”.
Clocking in at 2 minutes 50, the delicate nature of this ensemble makes it feel like a long and rewarding journey as it pull you in. Ynys has created an elevated track which is completely immersive from the first notes. The sound created could sit so easily on a playlist or line-up against the likes of Michael Kiwanuka to Mavis Staples. It’s soulful, vibrant and addictive.
