Brighton alt-rockers Thyla release sophomore EP ‘Everything At Once’
Heralding the next stage of their remarkable development, the rising quartet have firmly positioned themselves at the forefront of the emerging indie landscape and continue to shift boundaries, having already attracted glowing praise from all corners of the press (Pitchfork, Stereogum, NME, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit) following the arrival of debut EP ‘What’s On Your Mind?’ early last year.
Spawning masterfully crafted lead single ‘Two Sense’ and impeccable follow-up ‘Lenox Hill’, ‘Everything At Once’ represents a significant step forward for the indie juggernauts who’ve since become mainstays on BBC Radio 1, in addition to widespread BBC 6 Music, Radio X, KEXP and KCRW airplay.
“We called the EP ‘Everything At Once’ because that ‘sound’ we’ve been nurturing for so long is now screaming back at us”, enigmatic frontwoman Millie Duthie explains. “We’ve been careful not to put any restraints on and as a result there are many sides to Thyla. it’s difficult to put what it is that defines it into words, but it’s here!”
Thyla’s ‘Everything At Once’ (EP) is out now and available on all digital platforms.
