SAM WILDE RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘IN YOUR HEAD’
Not to be lost in the build-up and excitement of Christmas, casting back to Mid- December, promising artist Sam Wilde released his new single ‘In Your Head’.
The Leeds based singer songwriter, Sam Wilde, is an artist simply bursting with inventiveness. Back in December, the musician released his stunning third single, which you can hear streaming below.
A totally hypnotic and heightened harmonious orchestration. Wilde’s lyrics allure you, his message and delivery effortlessly get in his own listeners’ head- bold, brash and equally beautiful. The track gains such vivid momentum before it’s the explosive finale. Sam’s style shouts nostalgia, like an early Coxon masterpiece. Sam’s psychedelic infused Britpop attributes are passionately projected within his craft.
‘‘In Your Head’ is about being caught in a moment that you know isn’t right for you, but for some reason you keep going back for more.” Sam explains. “Its like there is this voice in your head telling you to get out whilst you still can, but you choose to ignore it. I think sometimes it’s better to feel something destructive than to feel nothing at all, and people are prone to that. I wanted to try and touch on that with ‘In Your Head’”.
Born and raised in Manchester in the 90s. His songwriting has been influenced by the golden era of British guitar bands but modernized by the rugged personality of his voice and strikingly delivered lyricism.
