The feeling you get when everything, for a split second, is perfect. Whether it’s the beginning of a night out with friends or that moment on the dance floor when the music is perfect and nothing else matters,” explains Josh.

It captures joy through its dizzying blend of euphoric synths and downtempo Jungle inspired drumbeats: “I wanted to make a song to soundtrack the ride home after a night out. Whether you’re taking the subway, riding the bus or in the back of an Uber, a song that sounded like the end of a perfect night.”

Following on from playful cut ‘Boo!’, ‘The Joy’is a preview of Prince Josh’s dynamism and mastery within dance music and its subcultures.
