Dogeyed Set To Release New Single ‘Waves’ 7th January

At the start of 2018, we introduced the exciting trio Dogeyed to our readers. Initially, a solo project, singer & guitarist Harriet Elder has been performing and recording lo-fi bedroom demos since 2016. Recently she’s been joined by Jonathan Minto (who also plays in Caves) on drums and Tim Rowing-Parker (from Woahnows) playing bass.

In the time since we promoted the act, the band has simmered on their next release falling deeper into their brilliantly rich sound. Towards the end of 2019 bassist Tim Rowing-Parker recorded a track for a Breakfast Records Cover Compilation. The song, ‘Joint Pain’ originally by Nicholson Heal, captures their passion perfectly.

Now as we embark on a new year, we are pleased to announce that Dogeyed will be releasing their stunning new single ‘Waves’, January 7th.

Waves’ is a well-crafted orchestration, the track which clocks in just under 3 minutes, is easily one of the most sonically-absorbing compositions. This band excites us!

Elder’s harmonious vocals combined with the intricate lyrics will just consume you. ‘Waves’ is a delicate and perilous journey, it leaves you wanting more. Effortlessly emotive, inquisitive and engaging, the single showcases the trio’s raw and atmospherical union. A textured track that proves the band are simply understated, they create such remarkably moving music.

This month, the band will be on the road with Slaughter Beach Dog (Philadelphia, PA), before some headline shows booked for March.
