CHERITON releases debut single Parallel!
Indie-pop newcomer CHERITON – aka Nick Harrison – prepares to release his addictive debut single Parallel on 31st January 2020 via So Good So Good.
The single – produced by Andy Hall Hall (Bastille, Fickle Friends, James Gillespie) – reflects on social media and the damaging effects it can have on mental health. CHERITON elaborates, “its a story of how fantasies and image projection run alongside reality and how people perceive relationships”. Reminiscent of the likes of Passion Pit or Metronomy, CHERITON combines sparkling synths and vibrant melodies with effortless harmonies to create an undeniably infectious hook-driven, guitar-pop gem.
Based in London – but originally from Kent – Nick created the pseudonym of CHERITON in summer 2019. Since then, Nick has been honing his craft and with the release of his debut single and an upcoming EP on the way, 2020 is shaping up to be an exciting year for CHERITON and his shimmering indie-pop soundscapes.
