New EP ‘Town Centre’ out now on Speedy Wunderground
*Vinyl SOLD OUT*

Fresh from a SOLD OUT UK / EU headline tour and dates with Metronomy, Squid have announced a 2020 UK tour including the already announced (and sold out) Scala date in the capital. Tickets for other dates available here:

Today also marks the physical release of their EP ‘Town Centre’ out on label-of-the-year Speedy Wunderground. Unfortunately, for those who weren’t quick enough, the EP has already sold out. A repress is on the table and so keep a close eye for further news on this.

‘Town Centre’ is a perfect distillation of everything Squid have done so far, making good on the angular funk of ‘The Dial,’ the disco-punk of ‘Houseplants’ the ambitious songwriting of ‘Terrestrial Changeover Blues’ and through to their more ambient-leaning early work.

Formed in Brighton, Squid is the brainchild of Ollie Judge (Drums & Lead Vocals), Louis Borlase (Guitars & Vocals), Arthur Leadbetter (Keyboards and cello), Laurie Nankivell (Bass & Brass) and Anton Pearson (Guitars & Vocals)

Squid have built their name on the back of a run of fine singles and their incendiary live shows which displays an energy and conviction that is positively transcendent in its chaos and fever.
