“This is our proper Art Attack style video. All we needed was a children’s school hall, a massive white sheet and an iPhone… Wallah! Music video. As with most of our videos, we shot and edited this ourselves and apart from being tonnes cheaper, it basically means we just did what we wanted. The premise of the video was fairly simple, like the track I guess… We just set our stuff up, press record and HAVE SOME FUN (pun intended). The song is a dig at growing up and more so the idea of being told to do it. Sick of being pushed towards the idea that because your ageing means you have to act like it. It’s a kind of fuck you to tick the ‘I’m old now so I better do old people things’ mindset.” –  Mark (Drums)

A product of their fading seaside resort hometown, LittlehamptonGLOO creates high octane and abrasive sounds, pulsing with infectious melodies. GLOO adhere to provide a sense of relief from modern life’s struggles – the fantasy of quitting a dead-end and mundane nine-to-five job, the aspiration to escape small-town life and see the world.

It’s a sound that roars with ambition, as demonstrated in ‘A PATHETIC YOUTH’ (KKKK – Kerrang!, 4/5 – Upset), which has garnered support from LouderKerrang!Upset,BBC Radio 1Kerrang! and Amazing Radio and landed the band a BBC Introducing live radio session.

Gloo’s full-throttled live shows have landed their support to Queen Kwong, Press ClubDemob Happy and Richie Ramone, alongside a slot at 2000 Trees and BBC Amplify. Their music, vivacity and spirited live shows speak for themselves and Gloo has their eyes firmly set on breaking out of the norm they were born into.
