After releasing their debut EP in late 2018, and playing a sold out debut show, both to critical acclaim, enigmatic London-based duo TEME spent the following months immersing themselves in writing. What they have generated is a stunning double EP, each with its own singular mood; SOLAR and LUNAR.
New single T Y C E R R I G will be the final track to be released from SOLAR. On this new track the group continue to demonstrate their ability to create entire cinematic experiences within a short moment. The two vocalists combine effortlessly and distortion merges them into one and other in an ever-changing soundscape.
TEME offer the following on their new single. “Written overlooking beautiful Snowdonia, T Y C E R R I G was composed at the lowest ebb. But, whilst the lyrics clearly contain desperation, the song becomes an uplifting mantra, “I know I’m here, I’m here” repeated as an affirmation to oneself that we all matter.”
While SOLAR will be released at the end of Autumn, LUNAR will be released in the winter, highlighting the stark change in the two seasons and the contrast between the themes of both EPs.
Throughout October 2019, TEME are on tour through Europe with Haelos, culminating with a show at the Electric Brixton.
