Friday 11th October – Headrow House, Leeds
Saturday 12th October – Fusion Arts, Oxford
Monday 14th October – Moth Club, London

They also share brand new single “Cold Light of Day”, a taste of what’s to come from their next album, slated for release in 2020. The single will be released on limited cassette (100 pcs) on 4th October. Read their recent profile on NME here.

Guitarist Michiel Klein says of the song, “When I wrote the music for this song, I tried to keep things simple as always. I managed to squeeze out a guitar solo at the end. It baffles me every time, because I’ve never cared for, or in fact even hated, guitar solos.”

“The B-side “Cold Night” is an instrumental. A lot of people tend to focus on the literary aspects of our music, but the musical part is as important to us. The absence of lyrics or a human voice leaves more space for the interpretations of the listener, and we value this space a lot.”

Lewsberg released their debut self-titled album back in February via Cargo Records Distribution. Originally self-released by the band in Holland, the record organically picked up acclaim from writers at Mojo, Brooklyn Vegan, Bandcamp Daily, Under The Radar, Drowned in Sound, NME, Gigwise, Louder Than War and more, with comparisons including Television, Talking Heads, Velvet Underground and Parquet Courts

Lewsberg are Arie van Vliet (vocals, guitar), Michiel Klein (guitar), Shalita Dietrich (vocals, bass guitar), Dico Kruijsse (drums)
