SCALPING share new single ‘Ruptured’ and headline tour dates

SCALPING, the Bristol-based outfit making music that combines off-the-wall dance, industrial and full throttle noise and punk continue their ruthless sonic assault on 2019 with new single ‘Ruptured’ out now via Council Records.

Following their debut 12”, ‘Chamber’ which catapulted them to notoriety, quickly gaining a host of critical and fan acclaim; ‘Ruptured’ sees the band harnessing a visceral and brutal energy – switching between jittering, acid-laced synths, pulverising, pressurised hydraulic grooves and blistering guitar freakouts.

With ‘Ruptured’, the band have created what is, undeniably, a complete force of nature. Over the past year SCALPING have been selling out shows in around the UK, as well as conquering the European festival circuit with their feral audio-visual performances; fully immersive, bombastic and mind-bending multidimensional light shows. Every bit as incendiary, volatile and razor-sharp as their music.

SCALPING have recently played to packed audiences at Glastonbury, The Great Escape and Bluedot, whilst also supporting the likes of Bliss Signal, Snapped Ankles, Blanck Mass, Marie Davidson, HO99O9 and more. They are due to head out on their debut headline tour this autumn, a set of shows destined to be amongst the most exhilarating of the year.

The single is mixed by Sean Oakley, who has engineered and mixed for the likes of; Kanye West, Show Me The Body, Metallica and Black Sabbath among many others. Sean’s extensive expertise and eclectic scope are a perfect match for marrying together the disparate influences that coalesce on ‘Rupture’.
