“What If I Go Off With Bob?”
UK tour kicks off 31st August (including EOTR festival)
Celebrated singer-songwriter Mark Mulcahy will tour his new album The Gus in the UK this September. It will be his biggest headliner playing eleven shows across the country. His new band, (Marc Seedorf & Jake Wardwell) plus Nigel Powell and a revolving cast of players will start on August 31 in Brighton and then onto the End of the Road and ending in London at Bush Hall on Sept 11.
The new video for the single ‘What If I Go Off With Bob?’ is out today. It’s the story of a couple dealing with questions raised that must be resolved. The song features J. Mascis on guitar and is the third single from The Gus.
“I was able to get some great people to shoot and edit this. Louie just ran and ran and ran and Luke has such a beautiful face. Brilliant actors.” says Mark “I almost wish I wasn’t in it so there’d be more footage of them.”
Long heralded by his contemporaries (Thom Yorke, David Thomas, Frank Black etc) Mark has released several solo records. He was also the singer for the seminal Miracle Legion as well as the driving force of Polaris. He’s written operas, music for films and toured extensively. The Gus is out now on the Mezzotint label.
The Gus World Tour continues in the US throughout the fall and will return to Europe in the spring of 2020.
