EVERYBODY HATES ME | Live Session
FESTIVALS + NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
THE JAPANESE HOUSE has launched a stripped back live session of EVERYBODY HATES ME, taken from the debut album, GOOD AT FALLING. The session was recorded in Los Angeles and coincides with the announcement of her forthcoming headline tour of North America, the second since the release of the album, and a number of appearances at European festivals and Far East dates throughout the summer.
Produced by THE JAPANESE HOUSE, BJ BURTON [Low, Bon Iver] and GEORGE DANIEL from the 1975, GOOD AT FALLING began as demos recorded by Bain on her laptop in her room in London, and was finished in studios across Wisconsin, Brussels and Oxford. The result is an album that draws from Bain’s life in a way her work never has before; a more personal, vulnerable and yet confident body of work. “These songs are definitely more direct,” she explains. “The album has a lot more of me in it, so it makes sense.”
GOOD AT FALLING is already one of the best reviewed albums of the year, with acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, NME, Q Magazine, i-D, Clash, DIY, Dork and many more.
