FEET ANNOUNCE
A FREE CLAPPED RECORDS IMMERSIVE NIGHT
‘CLAPPED NIGHT OUT’
19th July | 26 Leake Street, London
IN SUPPORT OF THEIR DEBUT ALBUM
‘What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham’
Due For Release On 4th October
FEET have announced a special live event alongside their biggest headline tour to date. FEET’s self-made record label, Clapped Records, proudly present an immersive & conceptual night of bands and performance art from London to ‘share the crease and love’.
The event – Clapped Night Out – is on Friday 19th July at new venue 26 Leake Street in Waterloo, London & will see FEET play a live set alongside a hand-picked line-up of the band’s favourite acts from the world of music, performance art and spoken word.
This immersive evening will also include a DJ and visual suprises throughout the night, and promises to encapsulate the world of FEET in the first event of a series. All for the bargain ticket price of NOWT!
Advance free tickets are available on Dice and are available here. The line up so far includes, FEET, Circe, Hummah, Feral DJ and Jade Marie, who will perform spoken word, and create visuals between sets.
In anticipation of the event, Feet commented: “We hope to create a regular, immersive and artist friendly night which combines musical and performance art in one showcase. Merging traditional gig settings with late night DJs and art pieces for a unique, crease and welcoming experience. A place for everyone to get west and enjoy themselves. You may see Harry in an evening tail coat offering the finest of beverages and Greggs vegan sausage rolls for the loyal early-birds”.
The Clapped Night Out will also herald the release of the band’s next single, Outer Rim, from the bands up-coming album, and will keep things rolling right up to their own UK/IE headline tour through October & November. A tour which kicks off at the brilliant Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff and finishing at The Sound House in Dublin.
FEET aim to further solidify their status as one of the most exciting, quintessentially British guitar bands of recent years. With superb media support from, among others, NME, DIY, Dork, The Independent, Sunday Times, The Line Of Best Fit, Gigwise. Radio 1, Radio X and BBC 6 Music, the buzz around FEET continues to grow ahead of a debut album that fizzes with bright, bold and intensely exciting songwriting.
The album was produced by Cam Blackwood (Jamie T, London Grammar, Billie Marten etc) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Foals, Interpol, Beach House), and experimentation was integral to the process for FEET. From singing about the unpredictability of the humble hot dog (which is where the album title stems from), to stepping out of their comfort zone & relinquishing traditional song structures.
With their debut album coming late summer, and a brand-new single on the way, 2019 is gearing up to be a break out year for FEET.
