DREAM STATE release their huge,
brand new single ‘Primrose’

Produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Babymetal, Bury Tomorrow)

Welsh four-piece DREAM STATE have released their brilliant new single ‘Primrose’ on Wednesday 10th July through UNFD. Along with the recent ‘Hand In Hand’ single, it is the first taste of new music from the band since their debut Recovery EP (20 million streams and counting) back in 2018. ‘Primrose’ also had its first radio play on Radio 1 last night/this morning as a Jack Saunders Midnight Drop.

From DREAM STATE vocalist CJ on the new single – “Sometimes life will put you to the test, we can find ourselves in these cycles and they present themselves in different forms, when I thought I had broken one of mine, I found myself right back at square one, I was in pursuit of pleasure despite the negative outcomes and I found myself trapped again.”

“Sometimes we have to fall and fall to truly awaken and conquer our egos. There’s still so much we have to learn about ourselves and this is a chance to express my journey and open the door to anyone fighting the same demons. We want you to see that through darkness, light can be found.”From guitarist Aled about the recent confirmed departure of original bass player, Danny Lewis –Unfortunately we’re having to say goodbye to our friend and bassist Danny, as he has decided to focus his time on his wonderful family. We wish him all the best with his future and we’ll miss him dearly!

The band played Download Festival in summer 2018, Unify Gathering 2019 in Australia and supported The Amity Affliction across UK and Europe in autumn 2018, following other tours withNeck Deep (Europe), As it Is (UK) and Babymetal (Europe). Their UK headline tour earlier this year consisted of over 25 dates (including a sold out Underworld in London).
