Plastic Estate Set To Release New Single “Cremation” June 14th
Plastic Estate is another frivolous band hailing from Cardiff, a sensational act and a must hear. Another extremely promising act that deserves, actually demands your full attention.
Plastic Estate create dramatic, dark and ethereal music, with harmony at their core. The 5 piece New Wave/ alt-pop outfit are set to release their soaring second single, ‘Cremation’, due 14th June and available on all usual platforms. Described as a short-lived detour from their usually synth-centric sound with guitars featuring more than the likes of their first single ‘Apathy’.
The new single is intoxicating, nearly 4 minutes of clever instrumentation honing in on a unique take on new-wave, the track takes you back to an era and a defined genre you hadn’t realized molded you so. Cremation is a bold, dynamic, strident anthem. A composition transfixed on tonality and texture within their zealous synth soundscapes and brooding vocals.
Since the release of their debut single, the band have been featured on some standout live bills, performing alongside the likes of Linda Guilala, Perfect Body and members of Boy Azooga.
This Friday, when the band finally release their astonishing follow-up; their fan base will rightfully grow, as will the band. Plastic Estate are set to go far and should be your ones to watch. Think of an act with the best elements of The Cure, Depeche Mode, White Lies and Editors and you’ve got your new favourite band, Plastic Estate.
