Share Mind-Bending “77” Video
UK tour in September
New album Duress out now on Wichita Recordings
LA noise-rock trio Froth return with their most fully realised work to date, Duress out now on Wichita Recordings. To celebrate, the band has shared a mind-bending new video for their latest beat driven track “77”, directed by Shane McKenzie.
On the video production, the band says, “We’ve known Shane McKenzie (Snake Chime Zen) for a long time, he’s always doing analog projections at shows around LA. We liked his VHS vibe and thought it would be fitting for the ‘77’ video. He was able to match the analog glitchiness of the song with the way he processed the video. Other than that, it was inspired by scenes from The Eric Andre show and some of R Stevie Moore’s VHS videos.”
The band will support the record with a UK tour in September, visiting Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London. Full dates are below.
