Shares new single “Dylan”
Album LOVE HATE out next Friday 12 April

With just over a week before the release of her third studio album, Melbourne’s Jess Ribeiro has shared hypnotic new track “Dylan”. “Dylan” is the third single from her highly anticipated new album LOVE HATE to be released via Barely Dressed / Remote Control Records next Friday 12 April, 2019.

“Dylan is about disorder. Change. Being in limbo, in-between your old life and the new one.” Says Ribeiro. It once again shows just how masterful Ribeiro is as a performer and writer; it’s almost unfair that a song as unassuming as ‘Dylan’ can get under your skin the way it does.

On upcoming album LOVE HATE, Ribeiro traverses the landscapes of love: its amorous peaks, its rough rivers, and its dark valleys. Much like a concept album – Ribeiro ponders the metamorphosis of the many stages of love –attraction, passion, infatuation, adulation, longing, submissiveness, and madness. Whatever the theme – the near-untouchable quality of Ribeiro’s recorded output is astonishingly consistent and the wait for new music is always worthwhile.

LOVE HATE will be Ribeiro’s third studio album  – produced by Ben Edwards (Aldous Harding/Julia Jacklin) and recorded as a 3-piece with Dave Mudie (Courtney Barnett)and Jade Imagine.
