Russian Baths share enthralling new single “Parasite”

Brooklyn-based band Russian Baths have just debuted a new single, “Parasite.”

The track premiered via FLOOD Magazine who noted, “As aggressive as can be expected of the duo, “Parasite” soars with the male-female vocal harmonies that would make the track considerably more twee were it not so unbelievably unsettling.”

Russian Baths’ Luke Koz added, “Have you ever had an insect burrow into your brain and force you to drown yourself? Cured a headache with a hand grenade?” queries Koz, aptly reconstructing the same violent energy converted to guitar-driven noise rock on the single. “This song is about these legitimate questions.”

The latest composition from Russian Baths’ showcases the bands raw energy and courageousness. A true grunge punk track throughout. Intelligent instrumentation, harmonious lyrics and a projection which takes you back 20 years.

“Parasite” will be on Russian Baths’ debut full-length out later this year due via Good Eye Records.
