Night House Release New Single Unfold
Out March 1st

Brighton-based Night House are delighted to announce the release of their latest single, Unfold, out on 1st March 2019 via Back In The Woods Records.

The brainchild of singer, songwriter and producer Nick Williams (vocals, piano, acoustic guitar, synthesizers, drum machine, mandolin, production), Night House effortlessly blends elements of minimal electronica with atmospheric orchestral arrangements and melancholic vocal segments.

Mixed by Dan Brown (Massive Attack, Jerry Williams), Unfold was written for a close friend, lyrically reflecting on lost relationships and how the hurt experienced by both parties will only be temporary. The themes, sonically, pour out from the speakers as Williams’ repeats the line, “If it’s more than you feel you can take, then hold on.”. Aching emotion, gushing through every note.

Unfold is a truly stunning and intricate arrangement showcasing Williams’ intensity and talent as an artist. Emotive from the get-go, masterfully weaving lyrics and textured electronics providing the ultimate combination.

Initially a vehicle for Williams’ acoustic folk songwriting, the name Night House was adopted in 2015 as the sound continued to mutate and develop. As their sound grew, so to did the band with Alfie Weedon (double bass), Amy Squirrell (cello), Andrew Stuart Buttle (violin), Freya Bowes (clarinet), Juan Torán (electric guitar) and James Purvice (drums) completing the line-up. Since expanding the group, Night House have supported the likes of Ben Howard, Willy Mason, Krystal Warren and The Magic Numbers as well as appearing at The Alternative Escape, The Isle of Wight and Y-Not.

Night House is a name worth remembering- 2019 will be the year of this profound artist.
