Canberra/Sydney dub disco pop band Honey 2 Honey follow up last month’s surprise banger ‘Tone Of Voice’ with second single ‘Under the Hangar’, taken from their upcoming debut EP A Taste Of due 5th April via Chapter Music.

Originally a duo of Rory Stenning (a stalwart of Canberra’s electronic scene via his solo project Raus) and drummer Luke Keanan-Brown, the project now straddles two cities, incorporating Sydney members Del Lumanta (Gas, Video Ezy, Basic Human) and Daryl Prondoso (Phone, Basic Human)

Clocking in just shy of seven minutes, Under the Hangar is awash with propulsive, kraut-tinged magic and subtle disco hooks, evoking a spiritual blend of Can, Arthur Russell and Grace Jones whilst cloaked in the theme of “being seen kissing someone in a club”.
